Decoration: On Interior, Dragon surounded by six meandering lotus blossoms encircled by double cobalt lines surmounted by double coublt lines around rim. On exterior, eight lotus blossoms framed both top and bottom by double cobalt lines at foot and rim.
Technique: Motifs painted with cobalt oxide pigmentunder transparent glaze; on interior and exterior, ground filled with yellow enamel over transparent glaze.
Mark: Six characters in two columns inside double circle on base written with cobalt oxide pigment under transparent glaze.


Qing Dynasty, Qianlong mark. (1736-1795)
Jingdezhen porcelain.

Wideth of foot: 15 cm.
Decoration: On rim, scrolls of lotus blossoms and smaller flowers surmounted by alternating lappit flowers. Neck ring decorated with cresents over pendant leaves. Sholder of flask encircled by a row of ruyi over stylized diamond and bat motif over scrolling lotus blossoms and smaller flowers atop encircling row of alternating lappit flowers.
Technique: Some motifs outlined with cobalt oxide pigment, filled with cobalt wash, under transparent glaze; remaining motifs outlined with red enamel or black pigment, filled with red, yellow, and green enamels, over transparent glaze. Wucai.
Mark: Six characters in two columns inside double circle on base written with cobalt oxide pigment under transparent glaze.


Qing Dynasty, Qianlong mark. (1736-1795)
Jingdezhen porcelain.

Decoration: Dragons chasing flaming pearls with meandering clouds.
Technique: On exterior, entire ground painted in cobalt oxide pigment under transparent glaze. Dragon and cloud motif painted in gold over transparent glaze. Interior undecorated.
Mark: Six characters in three columns on base written in cobalt oxide pigment under transparent glaze.
